Day 60 Report

.Day 60 - 25/707 - Back to the River Near Louth

Finally we will be well away from Bourke. The crew changeover went well. Dave and Jonathan swapped vehicles at Moree. Thanks Dave for a great effort. Keep up the good work with the mince and veges.

Don't forget everyone, a reminder that Bruce and Kerrie covered all of Queensland, so thanks again for that.

While at Bourke I must say a special thanks to Mayor Wayne O'Malley for his hospitality and organising the presentation to Councillors. And for the greatest experience, thanks to Nina McLeod for the session on the satellite with the Distance Education kids.

Later start today as we went to the supermarket, filled the vehicle, went to the Council to drop off AWA sheets on Climate Change and then went back to the distance education centre.

Paddling was on clear water all day. Most of it was on a weir pool and we set up camp at the weir. This is 41km upstream of Louth.

The river is quite attractive here
